Big News!
I'm happy to announce that my husband and I welcomed little Jasper Vanderkam Conway into the world at 2:15am on Wednesday morning. He was 7lbs 8oz, is very alert, and loves taking in the world around him. I'm attaching a photo of the little guy to this post. We are home from the hospital and enjoying getting to know each other. And sleeping on occasion!

Congratulations on the birth of your (very likely) gifted son :) Being alert so soon after birth is a good indicator!
I remember how our daughter tried looking around the nursery when she was just a couple of days old. She even lifted up her head like a little turtle! She was identified as highly gifted on the WISC at age 14.
She'll be 23 in August and graduate this fall with a Bachelor's in Philosophy.
PS: I'm a native from The Netherlands and to tell by your name you have roots there as well?
